Camp Fort Bluff




Fort Bluff Camp is a beautiful, well-planned and well-maintained facility located on top of Dayton Mountain in Tennessee. The property has a lake, two large regulation-size football fields, an indoor gym and comfortable living quarters for campers and staff.

A wide range of fun and challenging activities await you at Fort Bluff! These include archery, basketball, canoeing, dance, flag football, gaga ball, human foosball, hiking, softball, soccer, speedaway, swimming, volleyball and much more! 

We will once again have exciting activities during our evening hours. From our Sunday evening getting-to-know-you icebreakers to our novelty Olympics and multiple dances, our campers will have many opportunities for fellowship and building meaningful relationships with peers and staff alike.

Each morning begins with a Christian Living class, and each afternoon includes a daily Compass Check. These two special gatherings support our theme and play a huge part in our camp curriculum—helping to promote a godly environment as our campers learn the significance of God’s Word and the role it has to play in their life at camp. There will also be ample opportunities to discuss these vital sessions in the dorm.

Transportation by air
We would prefer campers and staff (especially those flying internationally) use the Nashville International Airport (BNA) to fly to camp this summer. We will provide free round-trip transportation from the Nashville airport to and from camp. If flying, staff members should strive to arrive on Friday, July 28 (we will attempt to locate overnight housing with local members). Campers should make every effort to book flights to arrive by late morning on Sunday, July 30, and to depart on Sunday, Aug. 6, in the late morning—no later than early afternoon.

Dates and times
Campers should arrive Sunday, July 30, between 2 and 5 p.m. There is no early Saturday night arrival for campers to Camp Fort Bluff, so make other housing plans.

Staff arrival
Staff should arrive for training on July 29.

Specific staff needs
Staff is needed for all venues. There is also a need for a doctor/nurse, certified lifeguards and staff who currently hold certification in first aid and CPR. We are looking for staff members who hold current certifications or have special experience in archery, basketball, dance, first aid, canoeing, hiking/orienteering, swimming, soccer, speedaway/flag football, softball, videography, volleyball, female counselors, male counselors, transportation and kitchen/laundry.
