Register

We are very happy to again offer online registration for all our camp programs—from preteen through our young adult Challenger Program--for both participants and staff applicants. All information is collected on an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection to protect the data you provide over the Internet.

When you click the link on the home page of the camp website, you will be given a list of the camps and programs offered for the current year. You will note the application is rather long, with all the segments on the same page—name, address, gender, contacts, medical, insurance and the releases and waivers. Those questions marked with an asterisk (*) are required to register. Please read carefully and be sure to fill in the application completely. If you miss something, when you click “Next” you will be shown a list of required items that need your attention and will be presented with a “Back” button to return to the form to fix them.

Note: Those who cannot register online for some reason will need to contact the camp director. Since all our information will be on the secure server, the camp director will set up a phone call to take the information over the phone and enter it in the online system.

Governmental regulations and concerns over protection of minors have continued to increase, so you will find a few questions on the application that relate to that topic. In response to what state governments are beginning to require here in the U.S., the most reputable association in the camping realm has changed their regulations to require a background check of all adults who want to serve at camps to show due diligence in wanting to protect the precious young people who attend camps.

You will also note that the “Register Another” button at the end of the registration process will allow you to register for other camps or register another child. When you enter this process, you will see that you can select the forms of those you have already registered if you need to review or change something.

Once you have finished registering, you will be taken to a screen to click the “Process Payment” button, which completes the registration and will send you an email with an attachment which will include the Signature and Health Form with the health exam page and the Honor Code. We do not have an online payment system established, so we will continue to ask that you mail the payment in the form of a check to the appropriate camp director. Please make checks payable to COGWA Youth Camps – {camp name}. For example, if you are applying for Camp Carter, you will make the check out to “COGWA Youth Camps – Carter”.
