Camp Chattahoochee will begin its eighth year at the beautiful location abutting the Chattahoochee National Forest in the north Georgia mountains for preteen children aged 6 through 12. Since this camp will be held earlier this year—beginning on Sunday, June 17 and ending on Thursday morning, June 21—campers can expect cooler temperatures and a lot of fun! An Olympic-size swimming pool, 1.5-acre spring-fed lake, wooded trails, warm days, cool nights and great food add up to a wonderful camp experience. Activities include arts and crafts, canoeing, challenge events, gaga ball, 9 square, riflery, slip and slide, swimming and more! Be prepared for fun, fellowship and learning more about having a great time “God’s way”!
The application deadline is Monday, May 14, 2018. Campers and staff may deduct $10 from their fee if their application with payment is postmarked by May 1, 2018. Register early in order to take advantage of the discount!
Dates and times
Campers should arrive between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, and depart after breakfast, Compass Check, and awards and presentations (approximately 10:30 a.m.) on Thursday, June 21.
Please note that we will not be able to accept campers before 3 p.m. on June 17, since quality time and preparation are needed in order to provide the best staff team care for the campers. Thank you in advance for your thoughtfulness and cooperation regarding this matter.
Staff should arrive for training on Sunday morning, June 17, by 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon, following our morning staff training.
