Camp Cherokee

Arkansas

Camp Cherokee is held at a beautiful camp facility in Searcy, Arkansas. All dorms are air-conditioned, as are the dining hall and gymnasium. The Camp Cherokee facility is compact, making all activity areas within a short walk of each other.

Camp Cherokee offers many wonderful activities. Our water activities include kayaking and fishing down at the on-site lake, and swimming and water dodgeball at the inground pool. Other activities include archery, arts and crafts, nature hike, gaga ball and more.

We will once again offer the opportunity for our young teen staff (aged 13-14) to be part of our Apprentice Program. This program not only allows us to accept more staff who are younger, but it also provides them with an opportunity to serve and be trained in how to better serve as staff members.

Fun evening activities include novelty Olympics, bonfire and sing-along, and the end-of-camp variety/fun show.
