June Preteen Camps Cancelled

Sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided that we need to cancel all our June preteen camps. See the News update for more details.

We are excited again this year to use our same location we’ve used for the past 10 years. Camp Sequoia is a secluded mountain camp where campers can enjoy getting out in the wilderness to enjoy the sights and sounds far from the city.

Activities are varied—ranging from a few indoor activities (such as swimming, lessons in kayaking, arts & crafts, and dance) to our many outdoor activities (such as Christian Living, hiking, BB guns, archery, novelty Olympics, field games, gaga ball, challenge course, and the slip and slide)—and are always a fun way to spend the day in the sun.

Camp Sequoia provides healthy and nutritious meals during your stay, including a full salad bar, and snacks when we are at campfire in the evenings. There are many opportunities to visit with your fellow campers, but bring a jacket or sweatshirt, as it gets cool at night.

At campfire, we will enjoy sing-alongs and skits, which are a great way to get to know one another. We are excited for another successful year at Camp Sequoia, and we look forward to seeing you this summer!

We are looking for staff members who hold current certifications or have special experience in nursing, lifeguarding, archery, BB guns, and kayaking/waterfront.

Campers arrive June 15th before noon, and depart no later than 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 18th. Campers arriving early with staff should add $20 to their camper fee to help cover room and board.
