Camp Lone Star

Camp Lone Star will be held at Messiah’s Ranch (https://www.messiahsranch.org/) near Bryan/College Station, Texas. We are looking forward to welcoming our campers and staff to an inspiring four days of camping on 100 secluded and wooded acres, offering modern yet unique, rustic and fully air-conditioned facilities. 

Most of our boys’ dorms are actually “tree houses,” which can be accessed by standard and circular stairways. If you need to exit in a hurry, use the slide that whisks you to ground level! Do you have trouble sleeping? Let the evening breeze blowing through the trees rock your dorm to sleep! The girls’ dorms are equally inviting and comfortable in lighting and décor.

You will love our large and spacious dining hall and the three delicious meals served by our own staff each day! Having our own kitchen staff allows us to accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy/sensitive campers and staff.

Activities will help teach and reinforce the camp theme and will include Christian Living classes, swimming, fishing, canoeing, outdoor skills, archery, arts and crafts, recreation, music and lakefront activities. Evenings will offer special whole-camp activities that provide the opportunity for all campers and staff to have fun together.

Staff applicants with special certifications, such as lifeguarding or nursing, are always a high priority. Our greatest staffing need though is a heart of service and a desire to work together in unity to give campers the best experience possible!
