Camp Lone Star

Camp Lone Star will be held at a new location this year, Lake Whitney Ranch in Clifton, Texas (actually just north of Laguna Park, Texas). The camp is located on over 930 acres of woods, rolling hills and grand views from cliffs bordering Lake Whitney. You’ll enjoy modern dorms with connected indoor bathrooms and air-conditioning. The camp is still under development and in the future will include more cabins, a multipurpose building and a swimming pool, along with other quality facilities created to host activities and events.

Our own staff will prepare three delicious meals each day, which you’ll enjoy in the spacious dining hall. We’ll be able to accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy-sensitive campers and staff.

Activities will help teach and reinforce the camp theme and will include archery, arts and crafts, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, indoor games, waterfront activities (including a zip line and super-sized inflatable playground), music, recreational games and team building. Evenings will offer special whole-camp activities that provide the opportunity for all campers and staff to have fun together.

We always need staff applicants with special certifications, such as archery, lifeguarding and nursing. Our greatest staffing need, though, is a heart of service and desire to work together in unity to give campers the best experience possible!

Camper arrival
