We have been through two days of staff training, had all campers arrive safely, and are now into our first full day of activities. The weather was HOT before we came up, and even at the beginning of staff training. But it’s now supposed to be in the mid-80s during the day and around 62 degrees each night. Beautiful weather! The forecast for the camp after us is back to being hot again. What a blessing God has given us.

The new classes we have added this year—Bible 101 (our Bible journaling class) and CPR—have been very well received. We have a certified instructor (our nurse, Lissa Blake) and all of the equipment needed to teach and certify campers in CPR if they would like. What a wonderful opportunity for our future leaders of camp and in the church.

We are looking forward to the week ahead and ask for continued prayers. God has heard and has blessed us already!
